Service Agreement:
These terms apply to all services The Laundry Doctor provides, whether ordered through our website, phone, text, or email. We may update these terms periodically, and the latest version on our website will govern your order.
Booking and Confirmation:
Upon submitting a booking, you will receive written confirmation of our acceptance along with relevant contact information.
Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel your order up to 3 hours before the scheduled collection time without charge. Cancellations made less than 3 hours before collection will incur a $12.50 administration fee.
The Laundry Doctor's Right to Cancel:
We reserve the right to cancel your order in case of unforeseen events, failure to provide items for collection, or if the items do not meet our service criteria.
Service Timing:
While we strive to adhere to the specified pick-up and delivery times, we cannot guarantee exact timing due to unforeseen circumstances.
Payment and Delivery:
An invoice will be sent to you once your laundry is completed. We require full payment before delivering your laundry. We reserve the right to withhold delivery until payment is received.
Pricing:
Our current pricing and minimum service fee of $60 per pickup are outlined on our website. Charges are based on the count or weight of your items post-collection.
Payment Methods:
We accept payments via Credit Card or Debit Card through the online invoice link. A 2.3% merchant fee applies to all invoices. Additional fees may apply for alternative payment methods.
Failed Delivery:
A $12.50 redelivery fee will apply if you fail to accept delivery at the agreed time. Items unclaimed for over 60 days may be considered abandoned and disposed of at our discretion.
Unattended Delivery:
You can request unattended delivery or delivery to a third party at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss or damage after delivery.
Liability for Damaged Items:
We will refund the service cost for any item damaged due to our fault. However, we are not responsible for normal wear and tear or items damaged due to their unsuitability for standard laundering.
Customer Responsibility:
Please ensure that all items are free from objects (e.g., coins, keys, pens) before handing them over for laundering. We are not responsible for damage caused by such objects.
Laundry Process:
Our standard cold washing and machine drying process may be adjusted upon request. We attempt to separate lights and darks but are not responsible for any color bleeding or transfer.
Special Care Items:
Inform us if an item requires special care. Otherwise, we will proceed with washing it according to its care label or our standard process.
Stain Removal:
We do not guarantee the removal of all stains but will provide regular stain removal treatment upon request.
Late Payment:
Interest at 15% per annum may be charged on overdue payments. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate our services due to non-payment.
NDIS Provider:
As a registered NDIS Provider, please provide your NDIS number at the time of booking. Our services are claimable under the Household Tasks registration group.
Dispute Resolution:
In case of a dispute, please notify us in writing. We will endeavor to resolve the dispute through negotiation.
Privacy and Data Use:
We respect your privacy and will use your personal information solely for providing our services and informing you about similar services unless you opt-out.
Force Majeure:
We are not liable for failing to perform our obligations due to events outside our control.
Governing Law:
These terms are governed by Australian law and subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
